Standard Life extends partnership with John Hancock Investments

Global investment manager, Standard Life Investments has announced that its Global Real Estate Securities expertise will be available to the United States retail marketplace following the launch of a new Global Real Estate Fund on the John Hancock Investments platform.
The John Hancock Global Real Estate Fund will be managed by Andrew Jackson, Head of Wholesale and Listed Real Estate and Svitlana Gubriy, Portfolio Manager at Standard Life Investments.
The objective of the Fund is to provide consistent long-term returns, within acceptable levels of risk, through exposure to global real estate securities markets.
Commenting on the launch of the fund, Colin Clark, Director, Global Client Group, Standard Life Investments, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our long standing partnership with John Hancock Investments in North America. The launch of the new real estate fund is a very positive development for Standard Life Investments and extends the range of assets classes we can make available to John Hancock’s retail investors in North America."

Standard Life Investments’ GARS fund has been available to US retail investors via John Hancock Investments since January 2012 and its Global Conservative Absolute Return Fund has been available via John Hancock since July 2013.
