European equities fall again

Friday 29th January 2010
By Mike Jones

Stock markets in the Euro-Zone broadly fell for the sixth day in the last seven.

Generally better-than-expected European Commission confidence readings did little to halt the slide.

Data showed that the index of executive and consumer sentiment improved for a tenth month to 95.7, beating expectations of 92.3.

All markets were dragged down by Greece's deepening debt issues.
