8,000 investors to attend Master Investor Show in London

Monday 1st February 2016

Some 8,000 private investors will descend on Islington's Business Design Centre this April for the 14th Master Investor Show.
The event aims to bring together investors and companies listed on the stock market, or offering other forms of investment opportunities.
Stock market expert Simon Cawkwell, star investor Jim Mellon and Radio 4 journalist Paul Lewis are among the event's keynote speakers.
The event, which is organised by free internet investment platform Master Investor, creates opportunities for investors to speak directly with CEOs and founders of exhibiting companies.
Companies, in turn, can use the event as an opportunity to showcase their business and raise new funding.
Master Investor reports that 25% of the 6,200 confirmed attendees have a portfolio between £250k and 999k, and 12% have a portfolio larger than £1 million.
Due to increased demand, the 2016 show area has been substantially expanded and Master Investor reports that registrations for 2016 are already 250% higher than at this point last year, with the organisers expecting at least 8,000 attendees on the day.
Throughout the day, exhibitors and industry experts will deliver talks on current and future trends.
Topics to be covered include crowdfunding, pensions, spread-betting, savings and investments.
"Our line-up of speakers, exhibitors and partners makes us the number one event for private investors in the UK. Following our successful relaunch in 2015, this year's event will firmly establish us as market leader," says Swen Lorenz, Master Investor CEO.
The event takes places at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London, on Saturday 23rd April.
